CEOtoCEO Event Platform & Marketing system

As CEOtoCEO’s event program grew, its website, campaigns, and event communications needed to work as a more cohesive experience. I designed and developed a flexible system across web, email, and media that streamlined recurring campaigns, strengthened visual consistency, and supported the transition from in-person events to a broader digital audience.

DESIGNING A BETTER EVENT EXPERIENCE

Each CEOtoCEO event introduced new speakers, topics, schedules, and promotional needs, but there was no consistent framework connecting those pieces across the experience. Looking across the website, event communications, and campaign materials revealed where clearer structure and shared patterns could make each event easier to navigate, promote, and produce.

Fragmented Event Information

The website presented events through separate promotional graphics, with dates, venues, pricing, and registration prompts embedded in each image. Visitors had to scan each graphic individually to compare events, creating an opportunity for shared content patterns and clearer browsing.

Content-Heavy Event Promotion

Speaker information, event logistics, and sponsor content competed for attention within a crowded layout.

Inconsistent Brand Colors

Dark green content blocks departed from CEOtoCEO’s blue palette, weakening consistency between email and web.

Creating a Flexible Digital Foundation

Rather than designing each event as a standalone experience, I created a flexible digital framework that could accommodate changing speakers, topics, schedules, and content while maintaining a consistent structure. Reusable layouts and responsive patterns made it easier to support new events without reinventing the experience each time.

A Consistent Framework

Event content lacked a consistent structure for navigating recurring programs and speakers.

DESIGNED TO ADAPT

I designed a reusable event page that brings together the topic, date, speaker profile, and supporting content in a consistent hierarchy. On desktop, the speaker profile sits alongside the event description; on mobile, those elements stack into a single reading order. The structure accommodates different speakers and content lengths while maintaining a recognizable experience across screen sizes.

Building a Reusable Campaign System

With new events requiring many of the same promotional touchpoints, rebuilding campaigns from scratch created unnecessary repetition. I developed a reusable system of HubSpot email templates and supporting design patterns that could adapt to different speakers, topics, and event formats while maintaining a consistent visual identity.

One System, Different Events

Reusable templates established a consistent framework while allowing content and imagery to adapt to each event.

Streamlining Production

Reusable HubSpot templates separated the underlying campaign structure from event-specific content, allowing each communication to maintain a consistent hierarchy while adapting to new speakers, topics, and messaging. This reduced repetitive design and development work and helped streamline production across recurring events.

CAMPAIGN CREATIVE

The evolving digital system also created a foundation for more consistent communication beyond the website and email campaigns. I extended the visual language across advertising, promotional materials, and supporting event content, creating a more recognizable experience across the different ways audiences encountered CEOtoCEO.

FROM DIGITAL TO LIVE

As CEOtoCEO expanded beyond its traditional in-person format, the digital experience became an increasingly important part of how events were promoted and delivered. I extended my role into video production and live streaming, helping translate the event experience to digital audiences while maintaining a consistent visual presence across formats.

The Outcome

What began as an effort to create a clearer digital event experience grew into a more connected system across web, email, marketing, and live production. Reusable patterns made recurring campaigns easier to produce, while expanded digital delivery helped CEOtoCEO reach a broader audience without losing consistency across the experience.

By designing across each of these touchpoints, I helped create a more flexible foundation that could adapt as the event program evolved—from individual campaigns to a more scalable digital and hybrid experience.
